It started with a couple of snow lovers

looking for a cheap way to get to the hill and developed into www.hitchwhistler.com - a community of Drivers and Hitchers with a shared passion for shredding. As the season drew to a close, we realized something very simple:

Here at HitchRockies our vision is to create a network that connects those heading to the mountain with those in need of a ride.

We're looking for fun, trustworthy, reliable and completely awesome people to start building a community where the cry of "Powder Day!" is a call to action. This site relies on the trust and good nature of locals.

Together we can stop wasting time thumbing on the road and spend more time shredding.
